Aside from further perfecting the underlying routines to enable the programming of the Excel tools (see last week's article), this week was mainly about prospecting.
Some contacts in the context of training activities will be further developed, more about that hopefully in the coming weeks.
A psychological boost that should not be underestimated was the completion of the first assignment for a "paying customer": last week, through referral by a common acquaintance, I received a question from a self-employed entrepreneur, who was experiencing problems with the performance and operation of his PC, mainly in the context of Office and OneDrive. The customer could only miss his PC for a short time, so there was some time pressure to find a solution.
Some searching led me to a few corrupt files in the Windows 10 configuration as well as a missing OneDrive app installation file.
After returning a working device to the customer, he had another 5 days to ensure that the solution was sustainable and that the problems did not reappear. After all, my objective is not to invoice for hours worked, but for solutions delivered and customer satisfaction.
This makes pi-ProductivITy's first outgoing invoice a fact. And even though it was a modest assignment in quantitative terms, that milestone was special to experience. And more importantly, the customer is also satisfied!
Maybe you will be my next satisfied customer?
