About a year ago, following a large-scale restructuring at my then employer, the idea for pi-ProductivITy saw the light of day. For more than 30 years as a "power-user" I was invariably the first point of contact for my colleagues in addition to my normal day tasks when it came to the use of office programs (SAP, MS Office, ...), to help them find solutions for automation issues and for providing training in the use of all those applications.

When the day finally came when my employment was terminated, I did not hesitate to set up pi-ProductivITy as a company the following day.

While most novice IT consultants approach their (skilled) support from the IT side, I decided to use my long experience as an "end user". After all, for MS Excel, for example, I can build on an experience that goes back to the very first version, which came on the market when a lot of those starting IT consultants were not yet born ...

The 3 types of activities I will focus on are:

1. Support for users in (small) organizations that do not have their own helpdesk;

2. Elaboration of tailor-made solutions in, for example, MS Excel for specific applications at the request of the customer;

3. Provide training tailored to the needs of the customer.

Through this blog I will also regularly provide information about the activities of pi-ProductivITy, and about interesting or useful "tidbits" in the field. These articles will be announced via the usual social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
